The swelling caused by leaking blood vessels in the retina can cause one or more of these symptoms:
Normal Vision
Double Vision

Floaters
Wavy Lines
Dull, Washed-Out Colors
Loss of Vision
In the early stages of DME, you may not experience any symptoms; however, it can be diagnosed by your eye doctor.
